Functionally, boulder walls are built to hold slopes back and improve drainage just like block retaining walls — but aesthetically, they are more natural and work better with flower beds and other foliage.
You can plant a flowerbed on top of or behind a boulder wall, or plant creeping sedum or phlox between the boulders themselves for a softer look. Each boulder wall uses rocks in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, making each of our boulder wall projects unique.
